This beautiful part of the country allows me to grab a few fresh eggs from my chickens in the yard, head out to the Columbia River Gorge for some spectacular views, and round out the day at what seems to be an ever rotating lineup of brewfests. That’s why Oregon has always been my home.
Sometimes the best stories in the newsroom are inspired by seemingly unspectacular, everyday occurrences; the things we can relate to. To be the voices that people trust, broadcasters need to understand what matters to the audience.
